Yesterday, Between the Links posted about the high volume of negative content on our blog and that of the Alabama Democrats. From BTL:

So it seems that the main purpose of both blogs aren’t to promote their own ideology and policies, but to attack the other side. The Republicans can be given a little leeway because they don’t have a majority in the legislature, but they also have a popular governor and his policies to brag about.

Don’t take me the wrong way. Negative campaigning and criticism of the other side is important in politics and plays a purpose. Unlike many Americans, I don’t have this lofty notion that “no negative campaigning” is good for anything. But I would at least prefer half and half.

The remarks are duly noted, and we look forward to posting more positive and less negative content about the Democrats in the future. That is, as soon as they give us some reason to.
